BEFORE YOU REQUEST A QUOTE

Practical answers for a clearer inquiry

Start with the details you know. These answers explain what to include and what needs confirmation as your material request takes shape.

Illustrative coastal project-material setting

What should I send with my inquiry?

Include materials, buyer-approved specifications, quantities and units, destination country or island, and requested dates. Partial information is welcome; mark open details as not yet confirmed.

What if I do not know the container size?

Choose Not Sure Yet in the existing inquiry form and provide item quantities. The container estimate does not replace a material schedule.

Are substitutions approved automatically?

No. Request supporting specifications and obtain approval from the appointed buyer or specifier. Keep alternatives separate from the approved list.

Does submitting an inquiry place an order?

No. Scope, availability, pricing and terms need confirmation before any commercial commitment.

Who confirms freight arrangements?

Ask the quoting party to identify each included freight leg and who handles receiving, clearance and onward delivery. Clarify port or jobsite scope.

Is my requested date a confirmed delivery date?

No. Requested dates support planning; production, freight and receiving dates require confirmation for the order.

Put your requirements in one place

Use the checklist to organize your material schedule, destination, timing and open questions.
